Metallica's made a dream come true for a cancer-stricken fan's on Oct(10) after inviting the teenager backstage at a show in New Zealand.
Jed Roberts, who is battling acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, was stunned to learn bosses at charitable foundation Make-A-Wish New Zealand had arranged for him to meet his idols before their Auckland concert on 14 October (10).
The 17 year old admits he felt "nervous, excited... and I couldn't really wait for the night" but almost missed out on the meet-and-greet after his condition worsened.
His father Dean says, "Jed knew what he wanted. I was very proud of him."
