Metallica "Black Album" remains best-selling disc of SoundScan era

Metallica album Metallica "Black Album" after the end of 2010 this album remains the biggest selling album of the SoundScan ear.

The Metallica album made have sold at least 15,620,000 units since SoundScan starts tracking sales in 1991.

Previous year the album claim sales of 120,000, when Shania Twain second ranks Come on Over sales in the ear and Alanis Morissette located at the third position Jagged Little Pill holding.

Nielsen more report for the SoundScan that U.S. album sales, in total, decreased by 12.7 percent in 2010. Americans purchased 326,200,000 albums in 2010.

Adds that figure both physical and digital releases. Digital album downloads really increased by 13 percent last year, accounting for roughly a quarter of all album sales.

9. N Sync - No Strings Attached (11,113,000)
10. Celine Dion - Falling Into You (10,781,000)
